L'alphabet

Today's class is on the French alphabet. I know, you probably all think this is obvious because all the letters are similar to the English alphabet. HOWEVER, looking back from a higher level now, I realize that I really did not spend enough time learning the French pronunciation of these letters. You must learn to spell and understand spellings in FRENCH!

Don't forget to practice spelling for a few days. Even if you spell English words, this activity will help build your abilities to spell and understand words as they are spelled to you. IF YOU HAVE ISSUES with the video above, click here.

For more practice spelling French words, watch this video by Language City. Please DO NOT worry about the accents. He is spelling French words with accents that we will talk about later. Just skip over writing any "accent aigu", "accent grave", "trema", or "circumflex" and focus on the letters he says.

If you learn best with songs, check out this song by Alphabet Songs.
